  7. NOTES: We recommend that you uninstall previous beta versions of SimulBrowse 3
  8. before installing this one. If you get an error message saying that OLEAUT32.DLL
  9. is out of date it probably means that you didn't restart your computer before 
  10. running the program the first time. Also, installing this version will overwrite
  11. previous toolbar customizations because of a format change.

  14. This release is mainly a maintenance release with bug fixes. These include:

  26. GENERAL RELEASE NOTES

  28. Thanks for downloading SimulBrowse 3.0. SimulBrowse 3.0 was rewritten from scratch
  29. in a different language than previous versions. This has helped us solve some 
  30. stability issues and other problems we were having with previous versions. We 
  31. hope you like the result. We are very excited about SB3 and all of the new
  32. features, many of which were suggested by our users.

  34. The biggest news about SimulBrowse 3.0 is that it's FREE! There is no charge for 
  35. using SimulBrowse and we don't require any registration. However, if you want to 
  36. be updated about future releases and receive other news about SimulBrowse, just 
  37. send us an e-mail and ask to be added to the mailing list (or visit our web site
  38. and signup on-line).

  40. INSTALLING SIMULBROWSE
  41. We recommend that you uninstall any older versions of SimulBrowse before installing
  42. this version. Then, just run the installation program setup.exe.

  44. NEW FEATURES IN THIS RELEASE
  45. - User customizable toolbars and menus: if you don't like the toolbars we provide, 
  46.   create your own or tweak ours.
  47. - Search box: quickly search the internet from the toolbar
  48. - SimulGroups: SimulGroups make it easy to open multiple web sites with one click. 
  49. - Drag and Drop Urls: Drag a link on one page onto another browser tab and the
  50.   target will navigate to the dropped link
  51. - Close All menu item on the File menu
  52. - Favorites and SimulGroups are now alphabetized in the menu
  53. - Added option to allow top alignment of browser tabs
  54. - Added check box to default browser dialog to tell SimulBrowse to stop asking if 
  55.   it should be default browser. (older version only allowed change in settings)
